April 15th

Tomorrow morning, first thing (5am) Jett is being transferred via ambulance to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee where they will preform surgery on our little guy.

They discovered that the first time Jett had NEC, the healing process caused scarring in the intestines, in turn causing a narrowing or a bowl obstruction in the intestine.

(Think of it this way: you cannot get water to flow throughonce a garden hose has been kinked. When you fix the hose, it allows water to flow through. With the intestines, they must cut the dead tissue that was scarred during the healing process of NEC, and reconnect the two healthy ends of the intestines in order for things to flow through it and work properly again).

This makes it hard or even impossible to have a bowl movement, causes great discomfort and pain, and can only be corrected by surgery. Siani Hospital does not preform these procedures as to why he is being transferred to Children's.

After weeks of unanswered questions, we are finally sure what the issue is. We are relieved to hear this, because we now know what's wrong. But also feeling every emotion possible as we signed our names on the consent line..
Once the surgery had been completed and the recovering begins, there should be no other problems concerning his intestines, NEC scares, digesting milk problems, etc.

Thanks to all-friends, family & strangers for all of the prayers. Updates soon.
