Kangaroo Care, also known as 'skin to skin' was a success tonight!! We tried sometime last week but it only lasted for about a minute before Jett forgot to breath twice.
Finally on our second try I held him in the kangaroo position for a half hour!
He also is weighing in at 2 pounds and 7.7 ounces! He's getting 'fatter' and his skin is baby soft now instead of the thin, leathery feel.
All good signs of progress and now we are just working on letting him grow until he can go home! (:
Finally!!! We have a savings account set up for baby Jett! You can go to any Wells Fargo Bank and deposit any amount that you desire and no fees will be charged. The account is under Jett Wilson and Jennifer McAdoo. Sorry it has taken so long, but my 16 month old is not always cooperative! lol Thank you to everyone that has helped out with gifts so far.
